From March 15th to 19th, Bulgaria will host the 6th edition of the spectacular freestyle event Pamporovo Freestyle Open!
In its second year Pamporovo Freestyle Open will be part of the World Snowboard Tour and snowboarders from all over the world will meet in Bulgaria to join the competition! The event is also known for the wild parties and amazing atmosphere!
Pamporovo Funpark is one of the best places for freestyle skiing & snowboarding in the whole Balkans. The park has a special “Pro” Slopeslyle track and two lines on different levels – easy and advanced. If you are wondering, what else you can do in your time between trainings, just take your board and ride more than 63 km of perfect groomed ski slopes and a well-shaped halfpipe.
Last year, at Pamporovo Freestyle Open Vol. 5, Martin Kalliola (FIN) won, followed by Henri Laakkonen (FIN) and Eric Beauchemin (USA). We will see what happens in this edition of the event.
Pamporovo is the sunniest winter resorts in Bulgaria and the people there are famous for their warm hospitality and kindness – be sure to find new friends and have great time there.
The judging is entrusted to some of the best judges from Swiss, Slovenia, France and Bulgaria. In order to avoid any mistakes and disputes there will be a video judging and live scoring.
The winners of this years competition will share USD 15.000 prize money and many other goodies, provided by the sponsors of the event.
